Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. The couple had separated and she moved with her mom in Los Angeles. In 2001, despite her difficulties with money it was possible to secure her first big role in the online video show Rachel's Room as the principal character. Following her win of a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance in Murder In Greenwich of 15 year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to be awarded. Grace Rutherford, the character she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was nominated for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue a more significant role in films, having appeared alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. She has appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) are her re-casts of roles. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost and the final episode. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the 6th Season. The character she plays is Faith, who is the muse and fan of the celebrities. As a part of the Gyllenhaal Family she's the younger sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in films of her father when he was an adolescent. With her brother, she appeared in Donnie Darko (2000). She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performances as the lead in the erotic romantic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the drama Sherrybaby (2006) both of which earned her an Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which came out in 2008 following numerous highly successful films, including World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal made her debut as a director and writer in 2021 with her psycho-drama The Lost Daughter. For this movie, she received an award for the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and received nominations for the Academy Award.
